It is not easy to beat Pakistan team in home condition, Captain South Africa.

 A series of two Tests and three T20 matches will be played between Pakistan and South Africa. The Test series between the two teams is of utmost importance as it is part of the World Test Championship. The first Test of the series will be played at the National Stadium in Karachi from January 26 to 30, 

while the second Test of the series will be hosted by Rawalpindi from February 4-8. South Africa had earlier visited Pakistan in 2007 and won the Karachi Test by 160 runs to win the series 0-1. Pakistan hosted South Africa twice in 2010 and 2013 in the UAE. 

 A total of 11 Test series have been played between the two teams since 1995, of which South Africa has won seven, while Pakistan has won only one series so far, which was played in 2003.
