 The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule of Pakistan Super League 2021 and the sixth edition of the league will start from February 20 where defending champions Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators will compete.

After successfully representing the entire season in the country last year, the PCB has also announced the schedule for the next season and once again the entire event will be played in Pakistan.

HBL PSL Season 6 2021 

The opening match of the event will be played on February 20 at the National Stadium in Karachi in which Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators will compete. The final of the 30-day tournament will be played on March 22 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and for the first time since 2017, the final of the event will be played in Lahore. The next day after the opening match, two matches will be played in the event where in the first match the teams of Lahore Qalandars, the finalist of the fifth edition of the league and Peshawar Zalmi, the winner of the 2017 edition will face each other. In the second match on the same day, two-time champions Islamabad United will take on Multan Sultans. In view of the health and safety of all stakeholders during the global Corona virus epidemic, the 34-match event will be played in only two cities, Karachi and Lahore. The first stage of the event will be played at the National Stadium Karachi and the second stage at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Equal matches will be played in both the cities while day and night matches have been distributed among all the teams on the basis of equality. In view of the Corona virus epidemic, any decision regarding the arrival of spectators will be made a few days before the event and government recommendations in this regard will be taken into account. For foreign players participating in the Pakistan Super League, a test result of corona virus must be negative before arriving in Karachi. Cricketers or support staff who test positive for corona will be sent to isolation for five days, during which time they will be tested for two more corona viruses. The first test will be done on the first day of isolation and the second test on the fourth day of arrival in isolation.
